Before his tenure in The Alpha Academy alongside Otis and others, Gable was part of the tag team American Alpha, alongside Jason Jordan. Together, they dominated the tag team scene, capturing gold on NXT and SmackDown.
Interestingly, a storyline unfolded during this time where Jason Jordan was revealed as Kurt Angle’s illegitimate child, adding a unique twist to their narrative.
While the storyline was short-lived due to Jordan’s injury, many believe that Gable would have been a perfect fit for the angle, given his striking similarities to Angle.
