Chris Evans might be gearing up for a comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! According to a recent rumor, the actor has reportedly inked a deal to join the cast of Avengers: Secret Wars.
Since Steve Rogers bid farewell in Avengers: Endgame, fans have eagerly awaited any news about Evans’ potential return. Now, buzz from insider “MyTimeToShineHello” hints at Evans’ involvement in Avengers: Secret Wars.
As the upcoming film is poised to unite prominent figures from both within and beyond the MCU, it’s no surprise that Marvel is eyeing Evans for a comeback. Although the actor had previously expressed reservations about reprising his role as Captain America, this recent rumor has sparked hope among fans.
While Evans’ return is cause for excitement, it remains unclear whether he’ll reprise his iconic role as Captain America. A brief appearance as an elderly Steve Rogers could be in the cards, perhaps featuring a poignant reunion with the late Tony Stark, should Robert Downey Jr. also return.
