Bayley and Mercedes Mone are best friends, even though they work for different wrestling companies now. They started their careers together and, along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, changed women’s wrestling with their incredible match at the 2015 NXT TakeOver: New York.
On the main roster, both Bayley and Mone became Grand Slam Champions and achieved a lot while being friends behind the scenes. Their friendship has been shown in many documentaries and videos.
Their bond was tested when Mone left WWE for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Despite being in different companies, they remain close and continue to support each other, sharing advice and helping each other grow.
In an interview, Bayley shared that she misses Mone but is happy to see her succeed. She finds it nice that they can still support each other while working separately, and she is proud of Mone for taking a big step in her career.
Bayley is excited to watch Mone’s journey from a fan’s perspective now and believes her friend has a lot more to offer to the world of wrestling.
