A thrilling Fatal Four-Way tag team match awaits tonight’s WWE SmackDown, but one prominent duo is noticeably absent from the lineup, sparking disappointment.
Grayson Waller and Austin Theory clinched the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in the Six-Pack Ladder match at WrestleMania XL.
However, their absence from the impending Fatal Four-Way contest, featuring Legado Del Fantasma, The Street Profits, The Authors of Pain, and The New Catch Republic, has stirred frustration.
Pretty Deadly, voiced their feelings in a recent video, expressing readiness to take on the eventual winners.
“We are Pretty Deadly, Kit Wilson, Elton Prince. We are always ready. So, whoever wins number one contenders, whoever wins the match after that, we are ready. And we’ll see you there,”
remarked Wilson.
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell has openly praised Pretty Deadly, despite their slow start on the main roster. He acknowledged their journey, particularly Elton Prince’s injury setback last year, which briefly halted their momentum.

Mantell admitted to warming up to the tag team over time, highlighting their growing appeal among fans.
“I didn’t call them dead on arrival, but I didn’t much like them. But as they’ve gone on, and this is, I’m sure, the case with everybody, they kind of grow on you a little bit. Then they’re are always kind of happy… People kind of like them, so don’t fight the wave, but I did like this match,”
Mantell shared during a discussion on Wrestling’s Smack Talk show.
Pretty Deadly’s track record includes two-time NXT Tag Team Championship victories, yet they have yet to secure a title on the main roster. As their journey unfolds, fans await eagerly to see what WWE has in store for the talented duo.
