The segment culminated in Mahal receiving The People’s Elbow, igniting a fervent response from the audience.
In an interview with Gorilla Position, Jinder Mahal disclosed the positive feedback he received from both WWE officials and The Rock himself regarding his performance on RAW. Encouraged by the reception, Mahal hinted at a potential shift to a babyface persona:
“Maybe Modern Day Maharaja as a babyface? Maybe? I don’t know (laughs). Yeah, I’m excited, overall, a very positive response, not only from the fans but also from the WWE, all the writers. All the people in the back and The Rock himself gave me some really nice praises, so yeah, it was awesome.”
Acknowledging his World Title shot against Seth Rollins and the subsequent loss, Mahal emphasized his continuous drive for improvement.
Feeling undervalued at times, he remains motivated to elevate his performance. To enhance his skills, Mahal has enlisted the guidance of an acting coach, already reaping the benefits of his dedication.
