In addition to Mahal, WWE also released Veer Mahaan, Xia Li, Xyon Quinn, and Sanga. With his departure, many wonder how Mahal will navigate his wrestling career going forward.
Indus Sher, the faction led by Mahal and including Veer Mahaan and Sanga, was also disbanded by WWE. Mahal had been absent from TV for some time, with his last notable appearance in a World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins.
Despite his efforts, Mahal fell short against Rollins and also competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal before WrestleMania XL.
