At WrestleMania XL, The Undertaker made a surprise return, aiding Cody Rhodes in winning the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Rhodes wasn’t the only one to clinch gold; Grayson Waller and Austin Theory became the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions alongside Awesome Truth.
After their victory, Waller took a jab at The Undertaker’s legendary streak, tweeting, “1-0 #TheStreak2.” However, the duo is yet to receive their new titles.
On RAW, Awesome Truth received the newly introduced World Tag Team Championship, but Waller and Theory are awaiting theirs.
Dutch Mantell, on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk, humorously critiqued The Undertaker’s appearance, disapproving of his biker gear instead of his iconic outfit.
He also wondered about Stone Cold Steve Austin’s absence despite rumors suggesting he’d appear.
Mantell quipped,
I do have a few complaints. Like Taker showing up in biker gear instead of his Undertaker outfit. I went, ‘What the hell?’ But anyway, it was almost the way we predicted it. I don’t know where Austin was. I guess he said hey I got a fishing trip I gotta go on.”
The Undertaker’s last match was at WrestleMania 36, defeating AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match. At WrestleMania XL, he chokeslammed The Rock after dealing with John Cena’s return.
