Ronda Rousey’s latest memoir, “Our Fight: A Memoir,” is stirring up discussions with its revelations. In the book, she delves into her life story, including her journey in the sports world so far, with a significant portion dedicated to her time in WWE.
While reflecting on her WWE stint, Rousey doesn’t shy away from expressing her mixed feelings, especially about her encounters with WWE management, notably Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Bruce Pritchard.
One intriguing account in her memoir revolves around her conflicts with WWE management.
Rousey doesn’t hold back as she criticizes all three men for their actions, citing instances where Pritchard reduced former WWE star Aliyah to tears backstage.
According to Rousey’s retelling, RAW superstar Liv Morgan informed them of Aliyah’s distress backstage, revealing that Aliyah was deeply upset after being told by Pritchard that producers wanted to undermine her and that no one wanted to collaborate with her.
Rousey recounts her conversation with Morgan, expressing confusion and defending Aliyah’s character.
She then confronts Pritchard alongside Bayley and Morgan, noting his annoyance before offering a feeble excuse upon realizing her discontent.
Aliyah, who was released by WWE last year, recently expressed gratitude to Rousey and her fellow female wrestlers on social media.
Thank you @RondaRousey and all the amazing talented women in the locker room. I can’t wait to read #OurFight 🫶

Despite her departure from the company, Aliyah’s appreciation for the locker room’s support shines through. She also hyped up Rousey’s book, expressing eagerness to read it.
Aliyah’s tweet highlights the strong camaraderie among WWE’s female wrestlers, particularly emphasizing Rousey’s influential role as a trailblazer not only in professional wrestling but also in sports at large.
