Supervive, the debut title from the new studio Theorycraft, is gaining significant traction as it rises in the Steam Next Fest charts and attracts attention on Twitch. This bright and vibrant hero shooter MOBA has been designed with care, showcasing the dedication of its development team.
Joe Tung, the CEO and a former executive vice president at Riot Games, emphasized the team’s commitment to perfecting the game for the event. As of now, Supervive’s demo is ranked second in daily active players during the festival, just behind Delta Force.
The game features a “wild, open-ended combat sandbox,” as highlighted in its Steam description, offering various game modes and an array of characters, particularly flame-wielding hunters, complemented by an abundance of visually striking lasers.
The development team comprises many former employees from notable titles such as League of Legends and Valorant. This pedigree contributes to Supervive’s impressive AAA-quality presentation, even in its demo phase, which showcases a high level of intensity and excitement.
The game’s popularity is evident as Theorycraft organized play sessions with prominent streamers, including loltyler1. During these sessions, Supervive managed to draw nearly as many viewers on Twitch as League of Legends, although its viewership has since stabilized at around 18,000.
This surge in interest reflects the strong anticipation surrounding the game and its potential to carve out a niche within the competitive gaming market.
Although Supervive does not currently have a release date, its demo is available for continuous play through the end of Next Fest, providing players with an opportunity to experience its innovative gameplay. With the talent behind its creation and the momentum it’s building, Supervive is well-positioned to compete with established titles that its developers previously worked on, making it a game to watch in the coming months.
