A group of Palworld players showcased an ingenious strategy to defeat a boss significantly beyond their level, earning admiration even from the game’s developer, Pocketpair.
The Video Gamers Podcast team shared their successful takedown of a level 38 Mammorest on Twitter. Despite the creature’s strength rendering the party’s attacks minimally effective (only dealing one point of damage per hit), the players discovered a vulnerability – it was susceptible to fire. Their solution? Surrounding the boss with 20 campfires during the encounter.
The posted gameplay footage reveals Mammorest being lured into an arena constructed of campfires, causing the creature to repeatedly set itself ablaze. The group explained that building the campfires only took about 5 minutes, with the real challenge being enticing Mammorest to traverse a bridge.
The unconventional strategy proved effective, ultimately leading to the defeat of Mammorest. Unfortunately, the victory occurred a few seconds too quickly for a last-minute attempt to capture the Pal.
Even the game developers were impressed by the players’ creativity, as they retweeted the video, acknowledging, “You guys came up with a genius way to fight Mammorest!”
This instance is just one example of players swiftly unraveling the complexities of the popular survival game, sharing advanced breeding techniques and valuable insights about ore bases to enhance the overall gaming experience for everyone.
