The Hardys, renowned for their tag team prowess across WWE, TNA, and ROH, boast an impressive championship history in wrestling.
However, both Matt and Jeff have openly acknowledged their personal struggles, recognizing that they’ve been their own obstacles at times.
Addiction issues have plagued them in the past, with Jeff notably undergoing rehab in 2022 following a DUI incident that led to his suspension from AEW.
Jeff’s absence from AEW since February, following an injury during a match with Sammy Guevara, hasn’t dampened his commitment to personal improvement.
In a recent interview on “Insight” with Chris Van Vliet, Matt revealed that Jeff is currently in peak condition.
“Jeff right now is in one of the best stages of his life that he’s ever been in throughout the entirety of his wrestling career,”
Matt remarked.
“He’s just got everything together in his personal life, which is really good. He’s also a maniac now that he’s in this position. He gets up every morning at 5am and he does cardio for an hour.”
Matt believes there’s still potential for him and Jeff to make waves in wrestling, especially as they both undergo personal transformations.
While the future of The Hardys in AEW remains uncertain, Matt disclosed that although the company has offered him a new contract, he’s taking his time to decide what’s best for himself and his brother.
