It looks like ancient Greece is getting a lot of attention these days! Not only did the popular game Reverse: 1999 release an update featuring a Plato-inspired location.
But Fortnite is also getting in on the action by introducing the Olympian gods themselves! That’s right, you can now equip Zeus with a handgun if you’re so inclined.
The latest battle pass is up for grabs until May 24th, offering you the chance to create your own epic saga worthy of Homer (the poet, not the Simpson).
In Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths & Mortals, players can expect new locations, divine powers, characters, and more.
Throughout the season, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock seven new characters, including Zeus, Medusa, Artemis, Hades, and even Korra from The Legend of Korra, who’s making a cameo from the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe.
But that’s not all! The Fortnite map is expanding with three new locations. Mount Olympus, the residence of the Greek gods, is making its grand entrance, while the Grim Gate brings a taste of the underworld to the surface.
Additionally, Brawler’s Battleground allows you to confront Ares, the God of War, and tackle his challenges.
Of course, there are also new weapons to wield, such as the Thunderbolt of Zeus, and temporary power-ups like the Wings of Icarus, which let you take flight—just be cautious not to fly too close to the sun.
