Horizon: Forbidden West Complete Edition is now available on PC platforms, having been skillfully ported from PlayStation by Nixxes Software, a renowned name in the field of game porting.
Forbidden West has been widely praised on PC, amassing over 2,200 reviews and achieving a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam. However, it is expected to climb higher and surpass The Last of Us Part I, which currently leads Forbidden West by just 1,000 players.
In recent years, several PlayStation titles, including The Last of Us, Spider-Man, God of War, Days Gone, and Horizon Zero Dawn, have made their way to PC, with varying receptions. For example, The Last of Us Part I faced criticism for bugs and performance issues at launch.
In contrast, Forbidden West has received widespread acclaim and positive reviews. It has reached a peak concurrent player count of 35,168 users on Steam, closely trailing The Last of Us Part I, which has an all-time peak of 36,496. Zero Dawn, one of the first PS Studios games to be ported, reached a peak of 56,557 players, although it was considered an experimental release for PlayStation.
For those yet to experience Forbidden West, the Complete Edition offers everything needed to fully enjoy the game, including the Burning Shores expansion released last year.
