Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is making a return to the public eye after a hiatus, thanks to a beauty launch, and Louis Walsh has lent his support.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemates reunited on Friday, April 19, 2024, as revealed by Ekin-Su herself on her Instagram story. They celebrated the upcoming opening of a BPerfect store in Belfast by exchanging voice messages to promote the new shop.
In their conversation, Louis can be heard initiating,
“Hi Ekin, It’s Louis Walsh, have you heard of BPerfect cosmetics?”
Ekin-Su responded enthusiastically,
“Hey Louis, yes I’m actually going to their new store opening next Thursday in Belfast? Do you fancy coming with me?” Louis, known for his stint as an X Factor judge, expressed interest in trying out some makeup: “Yeah, I’d love to try a bit of concealer stuff I see on TikTok.”
Ekin-Su has been surprising her fans on social media, especially after her departure from Celebrity Big Brother just before the March 2024 final, where David Potts emerged as the winner. Despite the setback, she made a striking comeback earlier in April, radiating confidence and positivity after weeks of silence.
Prior to this resurgence, the 29-year-old was last seen addressing her experiences on the reality show, notably her interactions with fellow contestant Marisha Wallace, during an appearance on CBB’s sister show Late and Live.
Criticized for her behavior on the program, Ekin-Su decided to take a step back from the limelight to focus on self-care, which she later explained on Instagram.
“I hope you don’t think I was selfish for setting boundaries and putting my own needs first last night. I’m fully aware that not everybody will understand my absence, or think it was the right decision to make, BUT it was the right decision for me.”
While Ekin-Su is still on her healing journey, she’s redirecting her focus to her career outside reality TV. However, tensions arose during her hiatus, particularly a misunderstanding with Lorraine Kelly.
Following an awkward exchange on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine issued an official apology to Ekin-Su, clarifying that she did not cause any chaos on the show.
