Former WWE Superstar Dustin Rhodes, formerly known as Goldust, stirred up controversy by targeting The Rock just moments before WrestleMania XL.
After The Great One’s return to WWE earlier this year, he aligned himself with The Bloodline and ignited a heated rivalry with Cody Rhodes.
Recent weeks have seen The Brahma Bull display his fiercest persona yet on WWE programming, brutally attacking The American Nightmare on multiple occasions, leaving him bloodied.
In response, members of Cody’s family, including Brandi Rhodes, have taken to social media to criticize The Rock.
Following suit, Cody’s brother and current AEW star, Dustin Rhodes, took to Twitter to deliver a scathing insult directed at The Final Boss.
“F-word the @TheRock,”
Dustin shared in a tweet.
Further expressing his support for his brother and disdain for The Bloodline, Dustin tweeted again, adding,
“My favorite wrestler at #WrestleMania #FinishTheStory #F-wordTheBloodline.”
The Rock and Roman Reigns are slated to face off against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a tag team match on Night One of WrestleMania XL, prompting speculation among fans about potential surprise appearances during the bout.
It remains to be seen if Dustin Rhodes will make an appearance to aid his brother against The Bloodline.
Meanwhile, viewers were treated to a comedic moment when CM Punk made a botch during his opening line as the host of WrestleMania XL.
