Since its establishment in 2019, AEW has emerged as a groundbreaking force in the professional wrestling industry, providing WWE with genuine competition.
The promotion has notably signed several former WWE stars and drawn inspiration from various ideas introduced by its rival.
The latest development in AEW sparking comparisons with WWE involves the presentation of Zak Knight, the brother of Saraya, and his Outcast stablemate Harley Cameron.

Fans have pointed out similarities between their approach and that of WWE Superstars Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
In the recent episode of AEW Rampage, Saraya, Knight, and Cameron confronted Renee Paquette backstage after her interview with Ruby Soho, who is currently engaged in a feud with the former AEW Women’s World Champion.
Following Saraya’s promo on Soho, Knight showcased a fierce attitude by slamming one of the men in the background against the wall and delivering a powerful chop.
Notably, Knight’s attire, featuring a leather jacket resembling Karrion Kross’s, prompted fans to label him as a copy of the SmackDown star. Some even accused Harley Cameron of imitating Scarlett’s look.
Despite the similarities, it’s crucial to note that AEW’s presentation of Knight and Cameron doesn’t necessarily indicate a direct copy, as their characters and gimmicks differ significantly.
Has Saraya completely lost the plot, or are her actions towards Ruby Soho and Cool Hand Angelo Parker justified?

Interestingly, Harley Cameron initially had plans to join WWE before signing with AEW. Having moved to the United States in 2018 and developed an interest in pro wrestling after her husband, Daniel Vidot, joined NXT, Cameron trained with WWE’s Shotzi and Scarlett.
Although there were plans for her to join WWE, circumstances changed, and she eventually made her AEW debut in July 2022, signing a full-time contract with the company in 2023.
Her journey from potential plans with WWE to becoming an integral part of AEW underscores the unpredictable nature of the wrestling industry.
