In August, Apple Arcade subscribers have exciting new additions to look forward to. Vampire Survivors, originally a free-to-play survival RPG available on iOS, is making its debut on Apple Arcade. This version will be ad-free and includes paid DLC such as Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari expansions.
The game retains its core survival mechanics but enhances the experience for subscribers with additional content previously available through in-app purchases.
Joining Vampire Survivors+ on August 1st is Temple Run: Legends, a fresh take on the classic Endless Runner series. For the first time, Temple Run introduces structured levels within its story mode, featuring 500 levels and 10 playable characters. It also includes leaderboards, achievements, and special events, alongside an endless mode for those nostalgic for the series’ origins.
Later in the month, on August 29th, Apple Arcade will see an update for Castle Crumble tailored for the Vision Pro mixed reality headset. Castle Crumble is a physics-based puzzler where players demolish castles across various historical eras using spells and explosives. The Vision Pro version enhances this experience with spatial gameplay, allowing players to interact with virtual castles in physical spaces through gestures.
These additions highlight Apple Arcade’s commitment to offering diverse gaming experiences across its subscription service, which already boasts a collection of around 200 games. Whether exploring vampire-infested survival scenarios, sprinting through ancient temples, or demolishing castles in augmented reality, subscribers can anticipate a varied and engaging lineup this August.
