The latest ratings and viewership data have been released for this week’s (Mar. 27) episode of AEW Dynamite. According to Wrestlenomics, Dynamite garnered 747,000 viewers and a 0.23 rating among the 18-49 year old demographic.
This marks the first instance where Dynamite’s viewership has dipped below 750K since the conclusion of last October’s Tuesday night rivalry against NXT.
In essence, this week’s figures represent a significant downturn for Dynamite when airing in its usual Wednesday night time frame. To find a demo rating lower than this for AEW on a Wednesday night, one must harken back to a June 2020 episode that aired in an empty arena opposite NXT.
Surely, this outcome is not what Tony Khan envisioned when introducing talents like Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, and Mercedes Mone over the past month to initiate what he dubbed a dynasty run for AEW.
When can we expect Jon Moxley to make his return to the show? How much longer will MJF remain sidelined due to injury? And, perhaps most importantly, where is The Blade?
