Becky Lynch, a cornerstone of WWE’s women’s division, reflects on her historic moment alongside her husband, 16-time champion Seth Rollins, at WrestleMania 35.
Their triumph marked a significant milestone in both their careers, as Lynch recounts the exhilarating experience during an appearance at Live Singing.
“It was amazing,”
Lynch reminisces.
“To make history together, with him by my side supporting me, was incredible. And returning to find my favorite tequila waiting for me in the hotel—it made the moment even sweeter.”
For Lynch and Rollins, WrestleMania 35 was a night of double victory, both in the ring and personally.
“We didn’t get much sleep, with early media commitments the next day, but it was all worth it,”
Lynch shares.
“To win championships on the same night, after winning the Royal Rumble together—it was special. Our relationship blossomed alongside our careers.”
Looking ahead, both Lynch and Rollins are slated for title matches at WrestleMania XL. Lynch is set to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship, while Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the formidable Drew McIntyre.
In a recent WWE RAW segment, Lynch’s emotions ran high when Ripley mentioned her daughter, Roux.
Lynch’s impassioned response underscored her dedication to both her family and her craft, intensifying the rivalry and positioning her as a formidable contender.
As WrestleMania XL approaches, all eyes are on Lynch as she aims to reclaim the Women’s World Championship—a feat that could solidify her status as one of sports entertainment’s top competitors.
