Michelle McCool, renowned for her contributions to the women’s division in WWE, has left an indelible mark on the wrestling scene.
Having faced off against some of the most formidable opponents during her career, she etched her name in the annals of WWE history by achieving numerous accolades.
McCool’s tenure saw her clinch the Women’s Championship and emerge as the inaugural Divas Champion, setting a high bar for those who followed.
Despite stepping back from active competition, she has made sporadic appearances, including participation in the Women’s Royal Rumble match of 2023.
In recent encounters, McCool found herself in the ring with contemporary stars such as Bianca Belair, whose unparalleled strength left an impression on her.
Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast alongside Mark Calaway, McCool expressed her admiration for Belair’s prowess, particularly recalling the experience of being rag-dolled by her.
“I mean there’s seriously, there’s so many. I love watching Bianca [Belair]. Her strength is unmatched from any like…..I’ve told you [Mark Calaway] that before…..People try to give these past girls all this credit and there were a lot of strong girls there. I was never the one getting lifted and tossed around and in one match with her, I got lifted and tossed around real easy. I was like that’s kind of fun. Nobody like she just rag dolled me. I was like she is a strong human being” [5:10 – 6:10]
Bianca Belair’s meteoric rise in WWE has been nothing short of spectacular, highlighted by her remarkable stint as RAW Women’s Champion.
With her sights set on new horizons, she expressed a desire to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title during an interview with Fightful.
“I love me some Rhea Ripley, okay? I think she’s amazing, I think she’s great, but I want to get in the ring and take that title from her — but I have to show her some love, that’s my fellow WWE 2K cover star. We’ve come in WWE around the same time, we’re climbing that mountain top together. I have to show love and respect to her but she is absolutely one of my favorites,” said Belair.
Fans eagerly anticipate the prospect of witnessing Belair and Ripley collide in a championship showdown. As discussions surrounding McCool’s reflections continue, the wrestling world remains captivated by the evolving narratives within WWE.
