The wrestling world is still abuzz after Imperium’s triumphant moment in a brutal match on the latest RAW episode. One superstar is fanning the flames with a bold statement.
Monday’s RAW witnessed the ongoing intense feud between The New Day and Imperium. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci secured victory in a Street Fight against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
The 18-minute showdown concluded with Kingston crashing off the top to the floor through a table, while Woods faced a steel chair assault before being rolled up for the pin.
Taking to Instagram, Ludwig Kaiser shared his reaction to the carnage from Monday’s Street Fight. The German-born wrestler posted a compilation clip, teasing fans with a “Wait Till End” graphic, ensuring they stick around to witness the double kendo stick onslaught on Woods.
“An eye for an eye [blood drop emoji] #LK,”
Kaiser captioned.
As of now, Kingston and Woods have yet to respond publicly to Kaiser’s statement. The anticipation is building for what WWE has in store for Imperium and The New Day at WrestleMania 40.
In a twist, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have expressed their reluctance to add a new member to The New Day. Once a dominant force in WWE, the trio included Big E, Kingston, and Woods. However, Big E has been sidelined since a severe neck injury in March 2022.
Big E, in a recent interview with WhatCulture, revealed his openness to a temporary replacement in The New Day during his absence.
He encouraged his partners to explore the idea, but Kingston and Woods consistently rejected the notion, expressing their commitment to the original group.
“I’m not around, and I told those guys too, as long as I’m out, please don’t feel like you’re beholden to me. My voice comes on at the beginning of the song every time, and I’m not around, and I don’t know if that’s fair to those guys, and hey, if you need a fill-in with a third, feel free to, but they’re always, so adamant about like, ‘Nah, nah, nah. This is the group’ and I appreciate them dearly for that…”
Big E stated.
Since his last appearance on WWE SmackDown in March 2022, Big E has not competed, with his injury sustained during a match against Sheamus and Ridge Holland. The Brawling Brutes secured the win, but a devastating neck injury has kept Big E out of action ever since.
What are your thoughts on the ongoing Imperium vs. New Day feud in WWE? The anticipation is high as fans await the developments leading to WrestleMania 40.
