Despite a strong start from Gable, Zayn retained his title with a Helluva Kick. However, the real surprise came after the match when Gable attacked Zayn during his celebration, revealing a darker side.
Taking to Instagram, Gable shared images of the post-match assault along with a cryptic message:
“I’ve always been a believer that, no matter how long it takes, people get what they deserve in life. I was right once again.”
In the lead-up to their bout, Gable had assisted Zayn in training for his WrestleMania XL match against Gunther.
