WWE’s WrestleMania 40 is shaping up to be an event full of surprises, especially with a SmackDown star setting his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship.
LA Knight’s recent victory on WWE RAW has propelled him closer to championship glory, and he’s not holding back on his aspirations.
Appearing on RAW this week alongside Cody Rhodes, Knight expressed his respect for his former rival and pledged support in Rhodes’ feud against Roman Reigns and The Rock.
Knight’s determination was evident as he secured a significant win against Ivar, earning his place in the men’s Elimination Chamber match. The ultimate prize at stake: a shot at the world champion at The Show of Shows.
In a post-match interview on RAW Talk, Knight addressed the praise he’s received but emphasized that his journey is far from over. He asserted his confidence in walking out of WrestleMania 40 as the World Heavyweight Champion, setting his sights firmly on Seth Rollins.

Knight’s words were resolute:
“You’re telling about a man who came from feeble expectations and making it all the way to the top of the damn industry. People want to give me congratulations for that. Nah nah. Save the congratulations. Give me the congratulations when I walk out of Elimination Chamber the number one contender for that World Heavyweight Championship, and then congratulate me two times when I get to WrestleMania and I take it off of Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.”
Meanwhile, Seth Rollins, though currently sidelined due to injury, remains a prominent figure on RAW, actively engaging with fans and elevating the prestige of the championship he holds.
As speculation swirls about WrestleMania 40’s card, fans anticipate the potential for Seth Rollins to pull double duty. A tag team match featuring Rollins and Cody Rhodes against The Rock and Roman Reigns could be in the works for the first night, while the second night may see Rollins defending his world title against the victor of the Elimination Chamber match—potentially LA Knight himself.
With the stage set and anticipation mounting, WrestleMania 40 promises to deliver excitement, surprises, and unforgettable moments for WWE fans worldwide.
