Kurt Angle has acknowledged Kenny Omega’s recent praise, expressing his mutual admiration for the AEW star.
In a Twitch stream, Omega declared Angle as his all-time favorite wrestler, commending him for his technical prowess and ability to portray diverse characters during his time in WWE.
Omega particularly lauded Angle’s match against Rey Mysterio at SummerSlam 2002 as one of the greatest opening bouts.

In response, Angle took to social media, expressing his respect for Omega and expressing his desire to meet him in person.

Angle tweeted.
Angle, a WWE Hall of Famer, previously mentioned Omega as one of his dream opponents in an interview with Forbes. He praised Omega’s talent and versatility, drawing parallels between Omega and AJ Styles.
While Angle retired from professional wrestling in 2019, Omega has been on hiatus from AEW due to health issues since December.
