WWE official Nick Aldis has shared a heartfelt message with Sting ahead of his retirement match.
As Sting prepares to bid farewell to his legendary career, he is teaming up with Darby Allin to challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship at AEW Revolution 2024.
Having shared the locker room with Sting during their time in TNA, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis conveyed his admiration for the 64-year-old star.

In a touching tweet, Aldis praised Sting as both a wonderful individual and a true icon, extending congratulations for his remarkable career and expressing gratitude for Sting’s support.
“🦂 @Sting, you’re a wonderful man and a true icon. I hope tonight is everything you hope for. Congratulations on an incredible career, and thank you for having faith in me. Tear it up tonight! #ThankYouSting,” Aldis wrote.
Sting’s tenure from 2003 to 2014 marked him as one of the cornerstones of TNA, while Nick Aldis joined the promotion in 2008 and remained associated with it until 2015.
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes also joined in honoring Sting. Before his return to WWE, Rhodes played a pivotal role at AEW as one of its founding members.

He joined the chorus of stars paying tribute to Sting, sharing a photo with his brother, Dustin Rhodes, and Sting, accompanied by a scorpion emoji as the caption.
After devoting nearly four decades to professional wrestling, Sting is set to retire following this week’s pay-per-view. Wrestling fans are eagerly anticipating if the legendary superstar can cap off his illustrious career with one final victory.
