Initially, a Netflix exclusive for mobile devices, the sequel to the First World War-themed Ubisoft game was unveiled at the 2022 Game Awards. However, signs suggest that this exclusivity might soon come to an end.
A recent post by Brazil’s ratings board, noticed by VGC, indicates that the game is on track for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, according to Ubisoft, is a “dramatic narrative game” that delves into the intertwined tales of James, Anna, Ernst, and George.
Building upon the original game’s storyline, Walt, the faithful canine companion, returns to aid players in navigating through narratives laden with themes of friendship, survival, and sacrifice amidst the chaos and tragedy of war.
For those curious about what lies ahead, a trailer for Valiant Hearts: Coming Home is available for viewing below.
Eurogamer has reached out to Ubisoft for any comments regarding the console ratings of Valiant Hearts: Coming Home.
Valiant Hearts: Coming Home serves as the sequel to Valiant Hearts: The Great War, a title that Eurogamer’s Christian Donlan described as “strange, memorable, and often powerful.”
“While Valiant Hearts struggles to make sense of itself as a game, in its odd, playful innocence and in its focus on four friends (and a dog), it at least offers a fleeting human perspective on a new kind of war that turned out to be far, far worse in its mechanized violence than anybody was quite expecting,” Donlan wrote in Eurogamer’s review of Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
