Tori Spelling has shared insights into why she hasn’t received an invitation to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During the April 19 episode of her podcast misSPELLING, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, 50, revealed her interactions with Andy Cohen, the Bravo series’ executive.
Spelling recounted asking Cohen about the casting decision, to which he responded,
“‘Ehh, I don’t know. You and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? I can’t see it.'”
She expressed her confusion, mentioning her long-standing friendships with the current cast and her prominent role in Beverly Hills, 90210. She also hinted at financial concerns, pondering,
“Uh, is it ’cause I’m broke? Let’s be real.”
Spelling’s financial situation has been a topic of discussion, with her recent divorce filing adding to the speculation.
She has previously addressed her financial challenges, admitting, “I am not great with money,” and emphasizing the importance of financial literacy for her children.
Despite expressing her interest in joining RHOBH, Spelling clarified that Bravo has never extended an invitation. Her BH90210 co-star Jennie Garth shared that she was approached but declined.
Spelling humorously highlighted her Beverly Hills roots and familial dynamics, suggesting she would fit well into the Housewives franchise. While Bravo has not approached her, there’s still potential for a shout-out, according to Jenny McCarthy.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues to fascinate audiences on Peacock.
