Despite The Fiend’s popularity among fans, the character’s booking was often criticized by WWE’s creative team. Russo’s suggestion of Otis as The Fiend’s new persona is an interesting one. Otis, known for his comedic persona and lovable giant persona, would have to undergo a significant transformation to channel the dark, intense energy that Wyatt embodied as The Fiend.
