After an eight-month absence, Sheamus made a surprising return to the WWE ring, catching the attention of fans and veterans alike due to a noticeable change in his appearance.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Sheamus’ comeback and speculated about his future with the company.
During a segment on The Brand, Russo questioned whether Sheamus could maintain his previous level of performance after over a decade in the business.
He also suggested that Sheamus’ close relationship with Triple H may have played a role in his return.
“Bro, I don’t understand. What gas is left in Sheamus’ tank? He’s done, bro. A wrestler runs their course after they’ve been there for so long. There’s nothing more you can do with them. Sheamus means nothing and will never mean anything again. But who discovered Sheamus in a gym twenty years ago? Triple H. So, here’s the return of Sheamus for the 92nd time,” he said.

The Brawling Brutes faction, which Sheamus led for nearly two years, came to an end on Friday Night SmackDown. After a hiatus due to a shoulder injury sustained during a match against Edge, Sheamus made his comeback on RAW, defeating Ivar in a one-on-one match.
It remains to be seen how Sheamus will fare in this latest chapter of his WWE career.
