WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels took to social media to share some exciting news about WWE NXT stars participating in a charity event.
The NXT Superstars are set to take part in a “Polar Plunge” to raise funds for Special Olympics Florida athletes. Michaels highlighted WWE’s long-standing support for the Special Olympics, dating back to the 1995 Special Olympic World Games, and subsequent events like the 2018 USA Games in Seattle and the 2022 Games in Orlando.
In his tweet, Michaels expressed pride in the NXT Superstars for their involvement in the charity event, stating, “Our #WWENXT Superstars are taking the plunge to raise money for @soflinfo athletes this morning!”
Meanwhile, Michaels also addressed the recent allegations against Vince McMahon, the Chairman and CEO of WWE. McMahon, along with other individuals, has faced serious accusations of sexual misconduct and trafficking.

Michaels labeled the situation as “incredibly sad” and emphasized his limited involvement in corporate matters, focusing on fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for talent within NXT.
