Savannah Chrisley approached her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley’s oral arguments with hopefulness.
As she prepared for the hearing, Savannah, 26, took to her Instagram Stories to share her positive mindset regarding her parents’ appeal process.
“Alright, y’all. We are an hour and 20 minutes away and I’m feeling hopeful and prayerful,” she began.
During the early morning hearing on April 19, attorneys presented Todd and Julie’s case in front of a judge, a step Savannah previously mentioned would bring the family “one step closer to getting mom and dad home.”
In her latest Instagram Stories, Savannah urged her supporters to “say all the prayers,” emphasizing that “there are never enough prayers that can be said.”
She turned the camera over to hairstylist Tyler Bishop to gauge his feelings about the proceedings.
“I’m hopeful. I’m confident. We’re surrounding ourselves with all of our loved ones today. We’re gonna walk in there strong and walk out vindicated,” Bishop responded.
“Exactly what Tyler said,” Savannah affirmed.
“We’re speaking it into existence. I’m just so grateful for good friends and loved ones and people who surround me. Let’s go win this.”
Her positive vibe continued with another video featuring her boyfriend, Robert Shiver, teaching her younger brother Grayson, 17, how to put on a tie.
“Well, you’re not paying attention,” she humorously quipped.
Before heading to the courtroom, the reality star snapped a quick mirror selfie donning a peach pantsuit and sporting beachy waves in her hair.
Earlier that day, Savannah appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the upcoming hearing. Reflecting on her parents’ emotional farewell, she recalled,
“I just watched them stand at their bedroom, just hugging and kissing and not knowing at this point. You just hear 12 and 7. Twelve years, 7 years — that’s a long time to be away from someone.”
Regarding her younger siblings Chloe, 11, and Grayson, the Unlocked podcast host revealed that both attended therapy weekly and “have to grow up a lot faster.”
“I would rather help teach them what’s going on in the right way than have the world interject and maybe teach them something that isn’t factual,”
Savannah added, having taken over as Grayson and Chloe’s primary guardian.
Todd and Julie were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in November 2022 after being found guilty of fraud and tax evasion. However, they have consistently denied all charges.
Despite initiating the appeal process to reverse their imprisonment, Todd and Julie still reported to prison in January 2023.
