In a recent interview, Ronda Rousey talked about her WWE journey, not shying away from addressing her experiences and candidly calling out two prominent backstage officials, Bruce Prichard, and John Laurinaitis.
With her forthcoming book “Our Fight” scheduled for release on April 2, 2024, Rousey has been actively promoting it through various media appearances, offering fans looks into different facets of her career.
During a recent Live Signing session, she fielded questions about the authenticity of conflicts in wrestling, drawing parallels from her time in MMA.
Reflecting on her past, Rousey admitted to orchestrating feuds in MMA for promotional purposes, but noted how they often spiraled into personal animosities.
However, she was quick to clarify the distinction between MMA and WWE, emphasizing that the conflicts in the latter were scripted. Despite this, she didn’t hold back in expressing her disdain for Prichard and Laurinaitis, bluntly stating,
“They can go f*** themselves. That’s real.”
Of note, Laurinaitis is no longer associated with WWE, having departed amid allegations surrounding Vince McMahon.
In addition to her revelations, Rousey’s fans have something to anticipate as she is set to make an appearance at WrestleCon during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
