Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared his perspective on an ideal scenario involving The Rock and Roman Reigns. He proposed a storyline where The Rock faces Roman Reigns on the first night of WrestleMania, only to be betrayed by Solo and the Bloodline.
The second night would see a repeat attempt to betray Cody Rhodes, mirroring the previous year, with The Rock intervening to help Cody win. This, according to Meltzer, would position The Rock as a babyface, while Cody leaves as the champion.
