Trish Stratus, a WWE icon, is adamant that it’s high time for a prominent RAW Superstar to unseat Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40, and she’s pinning her hopes on Becky Lynch.
Lynch, widely known as The Man, hasn’t held a women’s title on the main roster for nearly two years. Despite numerous attempts to reclaim the gold, Lynch has faced repeated setbacks.
Over the past year, Becky Lynch, also known as Big Time Becks, has steadily climbed the ranks, engaging in feuds with formidable opponents like Trish Stratus and Nia Jax.

Her ascent culminated in victory at the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, securing her position as the #1 contender once again.
In an interview with Gorilla Position, Trish Stratus emphasized the importance of Lynch becoming the WWE Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania XL:
“I think Becky needs the win, I think she needs it for her, she needs to prove it to herself. She’s a workhorse, believe me, because I was alongside her for half a year last year, she just goes. Then you see she became ‘NXT’ Champion and worked with ‘NXT’ talent and did great things with them and for them. She worked with the older ladies, the younger ladies, and still comes out on top, she’s amazing.”
However, Stratus also expressed a desire to see Ripley retain her championship:
“But I don’t want Mami to not be champ again, so it’s a bit of a toss-up. I don’t know, I guess we will have to see. Maybe I’ll watch closely and maybe that will determine some ideas I might have, maybe that’s what I’ll do.” (H/T – Wrestling Inc.)

While Lynch’s path to WrestleMania appears clear, an unexpected obstacle has emerged in the form of Liv Morgan.
Recently, The Man intervened during Liv Morgan’s match against Nia Jax to settle a score. In retaliation, Morgan disrupted Lynch’s match the following week, causing a disqualification.
With tensions escalating, Lynch and Morgan are set to clash on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
Speculation is rife that Morgan might be added to the WrestleMania XL match between Lynch and Ripley, potentially jeopardizing Ripley’s historic reign as she wouldn’t have to suffer the pinfall to lose her Women’s World Championship.
