WWE icon and Hollywood superstar, The Rock, set the stage on fire in Memphis, TN, this week with a memorable Rock Concert on SmackDown.
Returning to the territory where his wrestling journey began in the mid-90s, The Brahma Bull was in high spirits as he entertained the fans with his trademark charisma.
The Great One delighted the crowd with a captivating Rock Concert, where he didn’t hold back in roasting rivals Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and their “Cody Crybabies.”
His sharp wit and infectious energy lit up the arena as he delivered one electrifying moment after another. Notably, he even directed a playful warning toward Cody’s mom, teasing a showdown with her son and vowing to hand over a bloodied belt as a souvenir.
In a backstage update, Fightful Select revealed that while the Concert was initially slated for one segment, it exceeded the allocated time frame.
However, WWE had foreseen this possibility, with backstage officials anticipating The Rock’s penchant for going off-script. This proactive approach allowed the segment to organically unfold, ensuring fans got an extended dose of The Great One’s entertainment.
It’s worth noting that WWE strategically positioned The Rock at the start of the show, affording flexibility for any adjustments later in the night. This decision proved fruitful as it enabled The Rock to deliver a standout performance, captivating audiences both in the arena and those tuning in from home.

The Final Boss Emerges The Rock’s New Moniker
During his latest SmackDown appearance, The Rock surprised fans by christening himself as “The Final Boss.” This moniker caught the attention of wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell, who shared his thoughts on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk podcast.
Mantell commended the choice, noting its aptness given The Rock’s role as a member of the TKO Board of Directors and his authority over Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Mantell affirmed, highlighting The Rock’s transparency in asserting his position within the company. By embracing his authority and weaving it into the storyline, The Rock adds an element of realism that enhances the narrative’s intrigue and appeal.
In Mantell’s view, this new persona injects a fresh dynamic into the storyline, blurring the lines between fiction and reality and ultimately enriching the viewer experience.
