After the resounding success of WrestleMania XL, WWE enthusiasts eagerly await news of the next year’s venue, but the company has yet to make any announcements. WWE President Nick Khan sheds light on their criteria for selecting future event locations.
WrestleMania XL boasted record-breaking numbers across the board, solidifying its status as the biggest event in WWE history. The star-studded affair featured appearances by renowned celebrities such as Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, and IShowSpeed.
Addressing the audience at the Sports Business Journal’s Congress of Sports in Los Angeles, Khan revealed that WWE’s major events, including WrestleMania, will predominantly remain in the United States and Canada for the foreseeable future, ruling out international venues.
While Khan remained tight-lipped about the next year’s location, he hinted that it won’t be at an outdoor East Coast stadium, citing concerns over adverse weather conditions experienced during WrestleMania XL’s first night in Philadelphia.
Additionally, Khan emphasized that future events wouldn’t coincide with major sporting events like the Final Four.
Las Vegas emerged as a potential host city for WrestleMania 2025, although no official decision has been made yet.
However, for WWE fans in the United Kingdom hoping for a WrestleMania in their backyard, Khan’s statement delivers disappointing news.
WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East coast stadium again and it won’t go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.

Despite the popularity of Premium Live Events in the UK, including last year’s Money in the Bank in London and the upcoming Clash at the Castle in Scotland, Khan asserted that major WWE events will remain centered in North America for the foreseeable future, dashing hopes of a UK WrestleMania.
Even efforts from WWE stars like John Cena advocating for UK fans’ desires couldn’t sway the decision. As Khan reiterated WWE’s commitment to prioritizing North American venues, UK fans will have to wait longer to see their WrestleMania dreams fulfilled.
