These indications suggest that Hi-Fi Rush may be making its way to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, with the former phrase playfully alluding to the unexpected scenario of a Microsoft exclusive appearing on PlayStation and the latter referencing the portable nature of the Switch.
Further findings within the game files include a green shirt with the phrase “Shadow Dropped,” a nod to the sudden release of Hi-Fi Rush on Xbox and PC following the January 2023 Developer Direct. Additionally, a grey shirt texture with the text “This Is Simply Unreal Epic” alludes to the game’s availability on the Epic Games Store.
Speculation regarding Hi-Fi Rush expanding to other platforms has circulated, fueled by Microsoft’s history of releasing a limited number of its exclusives on rival platforms.
