In the wake of WWE RAW, Liv Morgan didn’t hold back in targeting Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley. Following WrestleMania 40, Morgan launched a backstage assault on her former tag team partner.
At WrestleMania 40, Ripley managed to defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch.
The Man had previously clinched victory in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, securing her position as the #1 contender, triumphing over contenders such as Morgan and Tiffany Stratton.
Morgan, who had attacked Ripley with a steel chair the previous Monday, recently shared a photo of Dominik comforting his mother after the attack.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion sent a succinct but loaded message to members of The Judgment Day.
Taking to Instagram, Morgan posted,
“Such a beautiful sight.”
Vince Russo Expresses Displeasure at Liv Morgan’s Assault on Rhea Ripley
Vince Russo voiced his discontent after witnessing Liv Morgan’s assault on Rhea Ripley during Monday Night RAW.
Morgan and Ripley share a storied history within WWE, having previously formed the tag team ‘Liv 4 Brutality’ before Ripley’s betrayal and subsequent alliance with The Judgment Day.
During a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Russo criticized Morgan’s attack on Ripley as a “waste of time.” He hinted at his lack of enthusiasm regarding the 29-year-old becoming The Eradicator’s next challenger, stating:
“We got Liv Morgan attacking Rhea Ripley. What a waste of freaking time!”
Morgan’s Accomplishments and Potential Showdown with Ripley
Morgan boasts an impressive resume in WWE, having held the SmackDown Women’s Championship and secured victory in the Women’s Money in the Bank match in 2022.
She capitalized on her contract by defeating Ronda Rousey to claim her inaugural singles championship in WWE.
Additionally, Morgan is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, having captured the title alongside Raquel Rodriguez.
With the Backlash 2024 Premium Live Event looming, a potential title clash between Morgan and Ripley could be in the cards.
There’s a distinct possibility that Morgan will finally have her moment in the spotlight after being absent from WrestleMania 40.
