Kevin Owens, alongside Randy Orton and Logan Paul, delivered an entertaining performance at WrestleMania XL.
However, Owens hinted that it might have been his final showcase at the prestigious event. Reflecting on his career, the former Universal Champion shared his thoughts on what lies ahead.
In a candid conversation on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Owens confessed that he hadn’t always embraced the moment in the past, citing his rivalry with Chris Jericho as an example. Now, he aims to cherish every opportunity and not take anything for granted.
Expressing a desire to face WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio in a singles match, Owens highlighted his uncertainty about another WrestleMania appearance. However, if given the chance, he expressed a wish to square off against his close friend Finn Bálor at the grand event.
“I’d love to wrestle Finn Bálor there because he’s a very good friend of mine… I’ve had it so good. I really can’t ask for more,”
he shared.
Finn Bálor, now part of the RAW roster and a member of The Judgment Day faction, faced a setback at WrestleMania XL, losing the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Damian Priest.
Meanwhile, Kevin Owens, representing the SmackDown brand, reflected on his illustrious career, including two WrestleMania main events. Despite past accomplishments, Owens admitted a longing for another World Title reign, acknowledging regrets about not fully enjoying his initial Universal Title run.
“As my first Universal Title run, I really didn’t enjoy it as much as I should have… Looking back… it took me a while to realize that I really didn’t enjoy any of it,”
Owens confessed during an episode of Chronicle on the WWE Network.
With both world championships currently on the RAW brand post-WrestleMania XL, it remains uncertain if Kevin Owens will once again hold championship gold before his career concludes.
