Jake Paul is once again making headlines in combat sports, this time expressing his desire to step into the MMA arena against either Nate Diaz or Jorge Masvidal.

Despite extending the invitation, Paul lamented that neither Diaz nor Masvidal had engaged in discussions to materialize the matchup.
During the podcast, Paul emphasized his seriousness about transitioning to MMA and facing elite fighters like Diaz and Masvidal. He highlighted the lack of response from the potential opponents, reaffirming his readiness to negotiate and make the fight happen.
Previously, Paul had faced Nate Diaz in a boxing match in August 2023, securing a unanimous decision victory. Despite the outcome, Paul seems eager to test his skills in the domain of mixed martial arts against the same opponent.
However, Jorge Masvidal, another target for Paul, indicated that a bout with Logan Paul, Jake’s brother, was more feasible. Masvidal pointed out that Jake’s drawing power was not on par with Logan’s and cited contractual obligations with the UFC as a barrier to facing Jake.
Masvidal also referenced past comments made by Jake Paul about Dana White and the UFC, suggesting strained relations between Paul and the promotion.
Despite the possibility of competing against Logan Paul, Masvidal expressed reluctance to engage in a bout with Jake, labeling him unfavorably.
With both Paul and Masvidal vocal about their desire for a potential matchup, fans are left wondering if negotiations will progress and if a showdown between the two will materialize.
