The latest episode of SmackDown witnessed an intriguing development in The Bloodline saga, unfolding a narrative thread sans the presence of Roman Reigns and The Rock.
Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. shares his insights, suggesting that the faction still harbors motivations following Reigns’ setback at WrestleMania XL.
On the recent SmackDown, Solo Sikoa emerged alongside Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman, in the absence of The Rock and Roman Reigns.
Sikoa took the initiative to introduce Tama Tonga to The Bloodline, with Tonga’s attack on Jimmy signaling a significant shift in the faction’s dynamics.
Addressing The Bloodline’s trajectory on his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, Prinze commended the storyline’s evolution, highlighting the ongoing quest for supremacy within the faction, particularly the coveted title of The Head of the Table.
“It’s undergone multiple transformations… from its inception to the incorporation of comedic elements, to the recruitment of new members, and the numerous challenges to Roman’s rightful position at the helm. Now, with the championship out of reach, the question arises: what remains to be fought for? Only one thing – The Head of the Table,”
Prinze observed.
Speculating on The Rock’s potential return to the ring, Prinze envisions a narrative culminating in a showdown with Roman Reigns for the coveted title of The Head of the Table, followed by an internal struggle within The Bloodline to determine the next leader.
“I foresee him defeating The Rock, paving the way for another member of The Bloodline to step up and assume control,”
Prinze speculated.
“Whether it’s one of the newcomers or an Uso brother remains to be seen. If rumors of his hiatus to pursue acting are true, it would align with this narrative progression,”
he added.
Prinze also contemplates Reigns’ potential departure to Hollywood alongside The Final Boss, allowing for a hiatus from WWE programming.
Meanwhile, WrestleMania XL showcased a glimpse of potential future conflicts, with The Great One teaming up with Reigns to secure victory on Night One, while Reigns suffered defeat against Cody Rhodes on Night Two, hinting at internal tensions within The Bloodline.
As speculation mounts regarding The Rock’s return and potential feuds, WWE fans eagerly anticipate the unfolding chapters of The Bloodline’s saga, poised for dramatic confrontations and power struggles in the quest for supremacy.
