Former WWE star AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla, recently shared his thoughts on the current paths of his former Hit Row teammates after their releases from the company.
Despite being let go by WWE twice, Francis remains engaged with the wrestling scene and provided insights into the progress of B-Fab and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis.
Speaking to Wrestling Inc., Francis expressed pride in B-Fab’s recent opportunities to showcase her in-ring skills and noted his happiness for Adonis as he receives more TV exposure.
“I’m proud B-Fab is finally getting to show what she can do in the ring. I’m proud that [Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis] is getting an opportunity to actually be on TV and show what he’s capable of,” said Francis.
Currently, B-Fab is part of The Pride, a new faction with Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. However, her recent appearances on WWE SmackDown have been limited.
Adonis has joined forces with Cedric Alexander, and their plans in the SmackDown tag team division remain uncertain.
Francis had high praise for Swerve Strickland (formerly known as Isaiah “Swerve” Scott), who has found success in AEW.
“For Swerve, [he’s] been doing his own thing for a couple of years now. Hopefully, he gets the opportunity to win the world title, but you never know in this business,” Francis added.
Reflecting on his own relationship with WWE, Francis acknowledged the challenges but affirmed his independence from the company.
“They don’t want me, slime… And I don’t need them,” he responded to a fan on Twitter.
Fans continue to appreciate the success of Hit Row members as they navigate different wrestling platforms, showcasing their potential for significant achievements if given the right opportunities.
