The world of professional wrestling is ever-changing, with superstars coming and going, and their careers taking unexpected turns.
One such wrestler who has undergone a significant transformation is Heath Slater, a five-time WWE champion who was released from the company in 2020 due to COVID-19 budget cuts.
Heath Miller, aka Heath Slater, has been wrestling since 2004 and had a successful 14-year tenure with WWE. During his time with the company, he won multiple championships, including the inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Championship with Rhyno.
However, after his release, Heath took to social media to show off his startling physical transformation, leaving fans stunned.
In a recent Instagram post, Heath shared a photo of himself looking almost unrecognizable from his former self. The “Redhead Rebel” tagged several accounts, including WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW, and Wrestling, captioning the post with one of his famous catchphrases – “Pretty Damn Cool Man.”
The post sparked a lot of interest among fans, who were eager to know what had brought about this drastic change in Heath’s appearance.
Since his release from WWE, Heath has worked for various promotions, including TNA, GCW, and NWA. He even made a one-night-only appearance on WWE RAW in July 2020, despite initial reluctance.
In an interview with Rewind Recap Relive, Heath revealed that he was talked into taking the gig by his former 3MB stablemate Drew McIntyre, who convinced him that it could lead to new opportunities.
However, Heath turned down a subsequent offer to return to WWE full-time, choosing instead to pursue other opportunities on the indie circuit. Despite this, Heath remains grateful for his time in WWE and the experiences he had during his 14-year tenure.
Heath’s transformation serves as a reminder that even the most successful wrestlers can face setbacks and changes in their careers. However, with hard work and determination, they can reinvent themselves and continue to thrive in professional wrestling. As Heath would say, “Pretty Damn Cool Man” indeed!
