Former WWE Manager Dutch Mantell, also known as Zeb Colter to fans, recently offered his insights on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The focal point of the show revolved around the main event segment featuring The Rock and The Bloodline. During this pivotal moment, Roman Reigns made a significant announcement, disclosing that The Great One had aligned himself with the formidable group. Demonstrating his loyalty, The Rock pledged to leverage all his influence to ensure that Cody Rhodes emerged from his WrestleMania clash against Reigns on the losing end.
In a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell was asked about the extent to which the segment on WWE SmackDown propelled the storyline forward. Mantell opined that with the Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes match already set in stone, there wasn’t much room for further storyline development. He noted that the primary focus was on sustaining momentum, highlighting that Elimination Chamber wasn’t considered a pivotal stop on the Road to Wrestlemania.
“I don’t think Rock and Roman could advance the story with Cody anymore when it’s already booked. They can just talk about that. They look at Perth [Elimination Chamber] just like a Live Event,” Dutch Mantell remarked. [ 32:09 -32:27 ]
While there’s currently no advertisement featuring The Bloodline and The Rock at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, it’s worth noting that Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are scheduled to participate in the Grayson Waller Effect during the event.
Recently, a close friend of Ashley Massaro came forward with a startling account involving the late WWE star and a high-profile board meeting attended by Stephanie McMahon. The story has gained traction online, prompting reactions from figures like Dutch Mantell, who found the narrative disturbingly plausible.
Mantell also addressed the rumored reaction of Stephanie McMahon to Massaro’s interruption of the board meeting, expressing surprise at the reported lack of sympathy from Vince McMahon’s daughter:
“You would think her [Stephanie McMahon] being a female, she would be more receptive to it and most sympathetic. From what I hear, she was the least sympathetic or one of the least of all in attendance.” [From 7:40 onwards]
