Former WWE champion Xavier Woods of The New Day is gearing up to make history at the upcoming WrestleMania XL premium live event.
After securing a victory on the March 18 edition of Monday Night RAW against Alpha Academy’s Otis and Akira Tozawa, The New Day earned their spot in the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania XL.
Alongside teams like Awesome Truth and #DIY, they are set to compete in the Six-Pack Ladder Match.

In the wake of their triumph, Xavier Woods took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express his confidence and ambition.
Sharing photos from their recent win on RAW, Woods boldly declared their intention to add another title reign to The New Day’s already impressive legacy, stating, “This year at Mania we plan on adding another title reign to the legacy of the New Day.”
The New Day boasts an illustrious history in WWE, with Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E collectively holding seven SmackDown and four RAW Tag Team Championship reigns. Additionally, Woods and Kingston have clinched the NXT Tag Team Titles once.
Despite the absence of Big E due to a neck injury in 2022, The New Day has remained steadfast in their commitment to maintaining the original trio.

While Big E has expressed openness to the idea of a temporary replacement, both Woods and Kingston have emphasized their desire to keep the group unchanged, displaying unwavering loyalty to their teammate.
Looking ahead to WrestleMania XL, The New Day is eager to further solidify their legacy with another title reign.
As three teams have already qualified, anticipation builds to see which two teams will join the fray alongside the champions, The Judgment Day, on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
