The rivalry between The Rock and Cody Rhodes has reached an unprecedented intensity leading up to WWE WrestleMania XL.
Veteran Bill Apter recently suggested an audacious idea to escalate the drama even further.
The Great One hasn’t held back, targeting The American Nightmare’s mother in both words and deeds.
Apter believes this angle could be taken to another level during their entrances at WrestleMania XL if Cody’s mother were willing to play a small role in WWE.
During a discussion on UnSKripted this week, Apter proposed the idea of featuring Mama Rhodes on the Titantron, gagged and tied, as The Rock makes his entrance at WrestleMania.
He suggested that this would evoke a huge reaction from the audience and intensify the storyline. Apter elaborated:
“I am sick, thinking of storylines. What if, as Cody’s coming out, they show on the Tron The Rock tying her [Cody’s mother] to a chair with a gag thing… Not funny, that would be terrifying.”
As WrestleMania approaches, it remains to be seen whether Apter’s suggestion will be incorporated into the event.
