He expressed concerns about the promo feeling forced and reminiscent of the Attitude Era. However, upon watching the entire segment, his opinion shifted drastically.
Ziggler confessed that he was pleasantly surprised by the depth and execution of Rhodes’ promo. Despite not considering it the greatest of all time, he found himself thoroughly impressed and even declared his love for it.
Echoing Ziggler’s sentiments, veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter praised Rhodes’ performance, labeling it as one of his best promos to date.
