The forthcoming WrestleMania XL appears to be a battleground for The Rock and Roman Reigns, who are determined to take down Cody Rhodes.
Seth Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, has willingly thrust himself into the midst of this conflict. On the flip side, Drew McIntyre has maintained some distance, although he doesn’t hesitate to target “Main Event” Jey Uso on RAW.
Lance Anoa’i recently issued a warning to McIntyre, emphasizing the unity and strength of The Bloodline.
In a recent interview with WrestlingNewsCo, Anoa’i cautioned McIntyre, stressing that The Bloodline is a formidable family. He cautioned McIntyre against provoking the Samoans, hinting at potential consequences:
“I’m just letting him know, he’s messing with the wrong family,”
Anoa’i said.
“He went after me, he went after Jey, he went after Roman. Man, you better watch who you mess with, man, because we got a big family, and you just don’t know who’s next.”
Lance Anoa’i previously clashed with Shane McMahon in 2019, with Drew McIntyre involved as Shane’s enforcer.
This history adds complexity to McIntyre’s ongoing feud with Roman Reigns, which culminated in Reigns emerging victorious at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales, three years later.
Despite multiple encounters in the past, including clashes at WrestleMania and Survivor Series, Drew McIntyre has yet to secure a victory over Roman Reigns.
In an interview with Sportskeeda ahead of last year’s Superstar Spectacle event, McIntyre expressed his desire to face Reigns once more and secure a win, although the logistics of their separate brands may complicate such a matchup.
As WrestleMania XL approaches in April, Roman Reigns aims to extend his remarkable three-year reign as Universal Champion by defending his title against Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre sets his sights on dethroning Seth Rollins as the World Heavyweight Champion.
