WWE announcer Corey Graves provided an update on his wife, Carmella, as WrestleMania XL approaches. Carmella, who hasn’t been seen on WWE television since welcoming their son Dimitri on November 8, 2023, is set to make appearances during WrestleMania XL week.
In an exclusive interview with Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Graves expressed pride in Carmella’s transition to motherhood and hinted at her upcoming involvement in WrestleMania activities:
“She is magnificent. She is thriving in her motherhood era. It’s obviously Carmella’s first. Our son Dimitri, he’s just over four months old. He is a giant! He’s got the genes to be the next WWE Superstar! But she’s doing fantastic. She’ll actually be around. She has a few appearances scheduled WrestleMania week, which will be the first time she’s been in the fold since stepping away to be pregnant.”
As the excitement builds for WrestleMania XL at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Carmella’s presence during the lead-up to the event adds anticipation. Graves mentioned Carmella’s eagerness to reintegrate into WWE work:
“She’s excited to dip her toe back into the water. It’s a major life adjustment. Motherhood and WWE sometimes can be tricky to juggle both simultaneously, but she’s doing the best she can. Absolutely [difficult to juggle fatherhood too] but, let’s be honest, she’s the one that’s waking up in the middle of the night. Not me!”
Reflecting on Carmella’s journey, Graves emphasized her resilience and dedication in balancing motherhood and WWE commitments.
As WrestleMania XL draws closer, WWE fans eagerly anticipate Carmella’s return and the memorable moments she’ll create. What are your favorite WWE memories featuring The Princess of Staten Island? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
