Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are encountering a new hurdle in their married life as they transition out of the ‘honeymoon’ phase.
According to Life & Style, the couple is facing challenges with distance, residing separately due to their professional obligations.
While Affleck is engrossed in filming The Accountant sequel in Los Angeles, Lopez is dedicated to her projects in New York City.
“This is the first long stretch they’ve spent apart in a while. And they’re both dealing with it in different ways,” shared a source.
An insider revealed that Lopez is struggling to adjust to life without Affleck, seeking constant reassurance of his love and admiration.
However, the lack of affirmation seems to trigger defensiveness and moodiness in Affleck, signaling a departure from their initial honeymoon phase.
“The honeymoon is definitely over. The feeling is if they want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior,” emphasized an insider.
For those unfamiliar, Lopez and Affleck were engaged in the early 2000s before parting ways. They revived their romance in 2021 and tied the knot secretly the following year.
